Chuck Roe
Founder and President

Chuck grew up in rural Iowa and attended Iowa State University. After serving two years in the U.S. Army, he graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in biology. Chuck was a science teacher for three years in South America before starting his career in building and development in Davis.

Chuck founded Pyramid Construction in 1980 and has built more than 150 homes in the Davis area. He is also an active partner in two Davis projects: Covell Center, a multi-use residential and youth sports facility development; and Woodbridge, a residential neighborhood.

Chuck serves on the boards of the Davis Educational Foundation and the Davis Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies include fishing, ocean kayaking, skiing, scuba diving, and raising pigeons and tropical fish. He is an avid fan of the Sacramento Kings basketball team.
 

Mark Rutheiser
Project Manager

Mark graduated with honors from the University of California at Davis in 1985 with a degree in landscape architecture. He worked for prestigious planning and landscape architectural firms before joining the Pyramid team in 1990.

Mark's broad professional experience includes numerous residential, winery, commercial, and public projects. Currently, Mark uses his management and design skills to administer some of Pyramid's most noteworthy projects and oversee office operations.

His interest in computers has developed into an expertise invaluable to Pyramid Construction.
 

J. Michael Braswell
Architect

Mike studied design and architecture at the University of California at Davis, graduating with highest honors. Before joining Pyramid, he was a member of the Foothill Design Group, a nationally prominent architectural firm in Sacramento. Mike's reputation for designing impressive, beautiful homes has continued in the Davis area, where he has designed more than 100 homes since 1989.

Mike's extensive travels through Europe, the Middle East, Central America, the Caribbean, and Canada give his designs depth and sophistication. A member of the American Institute of Architects, Mike is adept at working in any style of architecture.

Mike is a member of Outdoor Adventures and the Names Project. His interests include the theater, cooking, fitness, and cats.
 

Dan Dossa
Chief Project Superintendent

Dan ensures the building process goes quickly and smoothly by skillfully coordinating subcontractors and suppliers. Dan has worked in the building profession since 1982, joining Pyramid in 1992. A Davis native, Dan earned a degree in civil engineering and holds a general contractor's license.

He enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and is an avid golfer.
